With Chinese New Year (CNY) less than a month away, it’s high time to start planning your CNY gatherings and reunion meals. We’ve gathered the best CNY goodies to buy this 2025 for your upcoming parties, ranging from savoury snacks to the quintessential pineapple tarts. These are great for hosting or gifting!
Table of Contents
1. Aunty Hong
Whether you’re looking for a gift-worthy cookie set to impress the in-laws and parents or you’re playing host this CNY, you’ve come to the right place. Homegrown brand Aunty Hong offers a wide range of handmade goodies, featuring time-treasured recipes passed down over generations. Some of their products are halal-certified, too!
Consider their line-up of CNY bundles, all of which come in elegant packaging so you don’t have to worry about the presentation. For instance, the Jubilee Delights ($128) is an all-in-one kit with three tiers of sweet and savoury snacks. Tuck into CNY must-haves such as Golden Pineapple Tarts and Melty Kuih Bangkit, alongside less familiar goodies including Coffee Butter Cookies.
On the savoury front, you can expect the likes of Spicy Floss Samosas, Premium Prawn Rolls and many more. The three-layered tin stars an intricate Peranakan tile design, making it the perfect centrepiece for any festive table. Alternatively, the smaller Harvest of Joy ($49.90) set comprises two snack tins—Aunty Hong’s Signature Love Letter and Caramelized Chilli Belinjau Keropok—stacked together in a gold tower box with beautiful floral accents, complete with a rope handle for easy carrying. Additionally, 1% of all proceeds from Aunty Hong’s CNY online sales will be donated to Dover Park Hospice, a non-profit organisation in Singapore—more reason to order!Â
