Burnt Cones Review: Clementi Cafe Open Till 12am With Yam Gelato And Waffles
Burnt Cones’ latest space will be located within the One North Eden condominium complex, which is a seven-minute walk away from Buona Vista MRT Station and a 10-minute walk away from One-north MRT Station. The joint also has outlets at Sunset Way, NUS, and United Square.
In case you didn’t know, Burnt Cones are known for their charred cones ($1), available in three varying colours: the lightest has the most neutral flavour profile, and the darkest is said to be the smokiest.Â
Their Buttermilk Waffles ($7) also sport the same charred exterior, with the Maillard browning effect lending the waffle a delicious, toasted flavour.Â

This pairs great with a scoop of their gelato, priced at $5 for a Premium Single Scoop, $6 for a Signature Single Scoop, and $7 for a Supremo Single Scoop.Â
As big fans of Pistachio gelato, we could not recommend Burnt Cones’ version enough. It’s the perfect combination of smooth, creamy, milky, and nutty. Else, if you prefer some thing more interesting, the Strawberry Basil, Mango Passion, and Ube or purple yam, are also great picks!
The cafe also rolls out new seasonal flavours from time to time, such as their Dubai Chocolate gelato, following the recent kunafa chocolate craze that exploded all over social media last year.Â
If you’re feeling like having a bougie night out, check out The Coach Bar, which recently opened in Chinatown with $12++ martinis! For more good gelato recommendations, give Gelato Messina a try. FYI, the Aussie family-run gelato joint recently opened in Chinatown too.Â
Address: 8 Slim Barracks, #01-03, One North Eden, Singapore 138392
