Burnt Ends Bakery opens cafe at Audi House in Chinatown
Here’s a piece of good news for fans of Burnt Ends Bakery: the popular bakery has opened its second outlet, a partnership with car manufacturer Audi, in Chinatown! In case you didn’t know, Burnt Ends Bakery is most known for their use of wood-fired bread ovens and house-blend coffee beans; they’ve also gained a loyal fanbase for their loaded doughnuts.
The new space, which is located within the Audi House of Progress Singapore, is said to seat 30 people at a time, and features Audi cars throughout the space. It also houses an interactive coffee bar, as well as produces its signature Slayer’s coffee blend. Along with these, fans can enjoy a wider selection of filter coffees from single-origin to blend varieties and new signature drinks!
Customers can expect a slew of German-inspired pastries, all tinged with Burnt Ends’ distinctive flair.
Everyone loves a good ol’ doughnut, and here you can treat yourself to one-of-a-kind flavours, including ones that are not found on their standard menu. There’s the Apple Strudel ($6), inspired by the buttery apple-laden pastry, or the Black Forest ($7), which consists of cherries, dark chocolate, and vanilla bean Chantilly cream. We were particularly fond of the latter, thanks to its perfect balance of rich chocolate, tart cherries, and the light, creamy texture of the Chantilly.
Aside from the aforementioned outlet-exclusives, Burnt Ends’ signature doughnuts will make an appearance at their new outlet. Crowd favourites include Pistachio ($6), Yuzu ($6), and Nutella ($6) doughnuts.
On the savoury side, you can expect dishes such as the Roast Beef Sandwich ($18), a hearty treat packed with succulent and meaty roast beef. Other top picks include Pretzel ($9), Pizza ($10), Ham and Cheese ($14) and more.
Don’t miss out on their signature beverages, too. We enjoyed the Dirty Cherry ($10), an incredibly rich drink that combines the tart notes of cherry with strong espresso, as well as the creamy Tiramisu Latte ($10).
