Matcha lovers, here’s one to add to your rotation: CHAGEE is rolling out a brand-new Matcha Series at all of its Singapore stores from 4 September, and this one comes with a literary twist. The drinks are tied to a collaboration with the children’s classic The Little Prince, with themed merch to match.

For this matcha series, the brand says it’s going back to basics: leaves from the season’s first spring harvest, shade-grown for more than 20 days, then milled into an ultra-fine 1000-mesh powder for a smoother, cleaner cup.

There are four drinks in the new lineup. The Signature Matcha Latte ($6.20) is the classic option, smooth and creamy with a well-balanced matcha flavour, available hot or cold.

The Jasmine Matcha Pure Tea ($5.90) blends matcha with jasmine green tea, bringing out the matcha’s depth with a lighter, floral edge. It’s also available hot or cold.
For something more dessert-like, there’s the Chocolate Cookie Matcha Frappe ($7.70), a frappe blending matcha with chocolate cookie bits for an indulgent treat.

The headline act we’re dying to try is the Lime Cheese Matcha Latte (from $7.20), available for a limited time only. It pairs matcha with zesty lime and a smooth cheese finish. You can go for it with a Cheese Cap for $7.70, or without for $7.20. We’ll be curious to see how the tart-and-creamy combination actually tastes once we get our hands on one.
Do note that prices may vary by outlet and by add-ons such as oat milk or extra matcha.

The Little Prince tie-in also comes with a run of limited-edition merchandise. Spend on any two matcha drinks (Signature Matcha Latte or Lime Cheese Matcha Latte), and you can redeem The Crown Headband or The Fox Sleep Mask for free, though the latter only becomes available from 11 September. For those who want to buy in, there’s also the Green Wonder Tumbler ($28.20) bundled with any matcha drink, the Stardust Toiletry Bag ($21.20) (also from 11 September), and the Stardust Luggage Tag ($14.40), bundled with any two matcha drinks.
