Available in a basket of Six Pieces ($12.80++) or Ten Pieces ($15.80++), these dessert dumplings are now a permanent fixture on Din Tai Fung’s already sizeable menu. Here, the dumplings’ signature 18 folds are filled with a rich black sesame paste that’s been slow-roasted till piping hot.

Din Tai Fung has also brought back their Noodle with Crispy Wanton in Spicy Sauce ($15.30++), a seasonal item that can be found at all outlets from now till 30 June 2025. This dish is marked by its springy noodles, spicy house-made sauce, and crispy, succulent wontons. We also hear that during this period, DBS and POSB Cardmembers can enjoy 10% off this dish.

But that’s not all—the franchise is set to open its 27th outpost in Singapore at Punggol Coast Mall, with the official opening date on 9 May 2025. This particular outlet will bring in some exclusive Din Tai Fung merchandise from Taiwan, including the adorable mascot plushie you see above. This is very much in line with the current trend of food-related plushies that you’ve seen all over social media.
