If you’re here after 12:30pm, we highly recommend getting their glutinous rice, priced at just $2. This best-seller is available with white sauce or dark sauce.

For something more substantial, order a serving of their vegetarian bee hoon ($2). This hearty dish features fragrant bee hoon noodles stir-fried with green chilli, cabbage, fried beancurd sheets, and mock char siew. You can also request a side of zesty chilli sambal to take the flavours up a notch.

Eng Huat Seng Snack Bar offers a variety of traditional desserts too, including Pulut Hitam and Red Bean Soup, priced affordably at $1.80 each. They’ve also got Mung Beans dessert ($1.80), AKA tau suan, comprising split mung beans that are simmered and steamed to achieve a soft, starchy consistency.

If you prefer cold desserts, opt for the Ice Longan ($1.80) or Sea Coconut ($2) instead for something more refreshing.
