$7 lunch buffet in this economy? Sign us up. 131 Mookata‘s new outlet in Jalan Besar, Jiale Kopitiam, has rolled out an all-you-can-eat cai fan buffet for just $7 per person! You can enjoy this deal from Mondays to Fridays, 10am to 2pm.
Do note that the dishes rotate daily. During our visit, we enjoyed unlimited servings of Yangzhou Fried Rice, Long Bean with Eggplant, Scrambled Egg with Corn, Curry Chicken, and Hotplate Tofu. Meats-wise, there’s also free-flow Honey-Glazed Pork and Lychee Fried Fish, featuring soft and tender fish chunks coated in a sweet-tangy lychee sauce, served with juicy lychee pieces for an extra bite.

Save some money this month with Jack’s Place 1-for-1 promo at four outlets: 321 Clementi, SAFRA Jurong, SAFRA Punggol, and City Square Mall. Available on weekdays, 2:30pm to 5pm, this dine-in deal applies to six main courses and seven coffee beverages.
Highlights include the New England’s Fish & Chips ($17++), which goes for just $8.50++ with the promo. Other mains include the Chicken Steak & Cheesy Sausage ($19++), BBQ Chicken Steak with Pineapple ($16.80++), and Lamb Chops & Fish Fillet ($21.80++): grilled lamb chop and flaky fish fillet served with pasta, greens, and gravy on the side.

3. Roasted Pork Belly Nasi Lemak: $3 sets
Roasted Pork Belly Nasi Lemak is an underrated gem in Hougang, serving up affordable sets from just $3! The cheapest option on the menu is the Nasi Lemak with Luncheon Meat, which goes for just $3. You get a generous portion of coconut rice, topped with a fried egg, fried luncheon meat, ikan bilis, peanuts, and sambal on the side.
If you don’t mind spending a bit more, go for their Pork Belly Nasi Lemak ($5.50), which swaps out the luncheon meat for slices of pork belly, accompanied by a green chilli dip. Although the sio bak couldn’t compare to some of the best roast meats around, we thought it was delicious nonetheless, with its crispy skin and decent meat-to-fat ratio.

4. Awfully Chocolate: $38++ brunch buffet
Awfully Chocolate Bakery & Cafe‘s flagship restaurant in Katong has revamped its brunch buffet! Priced at $38++ per person, their new Weekend Brunch Buffet runs every Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 3pm. There’s a 90-minute time limit for diners to stuff themselves with as many brunch bites and desserts as they can. Do note that each person can only choose one main from the brunch menu, and drinks have to be ordered separately.
You can’t miss out on their signature Chocolate Raclette Wheel, where melted chocolate is poured onto two folded crepes and served with strawberry jam and cream. Then, drench your desserts—we enjoyed the Chocolate Truffle Tart and Mini Apple Crumble—with free-flow dark chocolate, which ranges from 45% to 70% dark chocolate.

ICYMI: 5:59+ Cafe and Bistro, a popular panda-themed restaurant from Chengdu, has made its first international debut in Singapore at 313@Somerset! To celebrate its launch, diners can enjoy a sweet 30% off on selected steak dishes from 5 November to 8 November 2025.

Good Combo Hotpot & BBQ Buffet is a popular restaurant in Chinatown with a high Google rating of 4.8 stars from over 1,500 reviews. They’re known for their affordable buffets, priced from just $19.99++ on weekdays and $22.99++ on weekends for the Superb menu. If you don’t mind splurging, consider the two other premium buffet options: the Signature and Supreme, respectively priced at $27.99++ and $42.99++ on weekdays, and $29.90++ and $45.99++ on weekends.
Despite the low cost, you get to enjoy over 70 free-flow items for 90 minutes. Highlights include Beef Brisket, Marinated Chicken Thigh, and BBQ Pork Collar, along with fresh seafood, veggies, and noodles. There are over 10 soup bases to choose from, all of which come with a small top-up fee.

If you tried and loved Yue at Aloft‘s a la carte zi char buffet, you’ll be happy to know that the Novena restaurant has extended its 1-for-1 promotion till 4 February 2026. This means you’ll only pay $34.90++ per person for lunch and $39.90++ for dinner, after the discount!
The buffet menu has been refreshed with legit Malaysian dishes, featuring new specialities such as Sarawak White Pepper Bak Kut Teh, Penang-Style Pork-Rib Curry and more.
