If you’re taking a trip to Johor Bahru (JB) this weekend, be sure to stop by the Havoc Food Festival while you can! This massive fair, which sports 160 food stalls, is returning to JB from 13 February to 16 February 2025. It will be set in the parking lot of Angsana JB Mall, a 20-minute drive from the JB customs.

You can also get luxurious beef skewers at Brader Wagyu, where thick and well-marbled Wagyu skewers are grilled till succulent.

Those who aren’t fans of beef can check out the stall by popular Malaysian fried chicken brand Muiz Hot Chicken. Many have praised their chicken for its crispy exterior, juicy interior, and spicy kick, with some even claiming it surpasses the average fried chicken chain.
Singaporean brands are also part of the fair, including Mr Pani Puri, known for their stuffed crispy balls—a popular Indian street food. When we last tried their fare, we enjoyed the taco puri, which stars a thin and crispy shell stuffed with taco-flavoured ground meat. Each serving comes with six bite-sized pieces, so you can share them while you’re on the go.
