Heavenly Sundae is a new DIY cereal ice cream bar
If you’ve been on #sgfoodtok lately, chances are you’ve seen Heavenly Sundae on your feed. Newly opened on 17 February 2024, this new DIY cereal ice cream bar in Jurong is run by an amicable husband-and-wife duo. The spot stands out from your usual ice cream and waffles cafes in Singapore thanks to its retro American diner vibes and its unique cereal-infused ice creams.

Cosy and compact, Heavenly Sundae is adorned with a vibrant shade of blue, and here’s my favourite bit: there’s an entire wall lined with cereal displays. Makes for a great photo spot if you ask me!
Now, this is where the fun part begins. First, choose between an Ice Cream Swirl ($6) and a Cereal Shake ($8) for your base. If you opt for the former, you can get a cup or a waffle cone. Do note that you have to pay an additional $1 for the latter!
Next, choose your ice cream flavour: choices include Golden Vanilla Pod, Salted Caramel, and Rich Chocolate. Then, choose a cereal flavour out of 20 different brands, and a mix-in ingredient of your choice. You can either get two cereal flavours or stick to one cereal and one mix-in ingredient.
End it off with a drizzle of your choice: Chocolate, White Chocolate, Caramel, Strawberry, or Maple Syrup.
Out of the 20 cereal flavours, there are local favourites such as Koko Krunch, Froot Loops, and Frosted Flakes, as well as the more popular Lucky Charms, Coco Pops, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
You get 10 different mix-in ingredients to choose from, with the likes of Brownie, Butter Cake, and Peanut Cream Cracker among the options.
My colleague and I decided to get a cup and a cone of their Ice Cream Swirl, which seemed to be the popular choice.
For the cup, we went with a Rich Chocolate base swirled with KitKat cereal and Maltesers. We then topped it with a Caramel drizzle! Though mixed with three different chocolate-flavoured things, this was surprisingly not as cloying as I’d thought it would be.
We wanted something unique for the cone, so we got the Salted Caramel base with Lucky Charms and Lotus Biscoff Cream, finished with a White Chocolate drizzle. My colleague and I agreed that this was our favourite—we really liked the colourful bits of Lucky Charm cereal combined with a creamy salted caramel base, and the richness of the white chocolate sauce.
Heavenly Sundae may seem a little out of the way, but it’s actually an eight-minute walk from Joo Koon MRT Station. Aside from a small indoor dining area, there are about ten outdoor seats to enjoy your ice cream in Singapore’s sultry weather!
