If you’re a huge fan of IKEA Swedish Bistro‘s $1 hotdog, you’ll be pleased to know that the restaurant is rolling out a 12-inch Hotdog as part of their upcoming 45th anniversary! Only available from 27 April to 1 May 2023, IKEA’s XXL hotdog will be priced at a wallet-friendly $1 instead of the usual $2.

To get an idea of exactly how long the jumbo hotdog is, refer to the photo above for a size reference! The length of the sausage is just like a footlong sandwich from Subway.

A dollar gets you a 12-inch hotdog stuffed between a soft and fluffy bun that’s lightly steamed so it’s a tad warm. Don’t forget to load up on the sauces at the self-service condiment section for the full experience.

Those who want something more substantial can look forward to discounts on selected food items, launched as part of the anniversary celebration. The all-time favourite 8-pc Swedish Meatballs with Mashed Potato and Mixed Vegetables (U.P. $6.90) is going for $4.50—a steal as each meatball works out to just under $0.60.

Vegetarians aren’t left out either; IKEA’s plant-based meatballs are going at the same price of $4.50!

You can get the jumbo sausage and discounted sets across all IKEA Swedish Bistro outlets, namely Alexandra, Tampines, and Jurong. The queues seem to be fairly long on the first day of the promotion, so it’s best to arrive earlier for a shorter line!

ICYMI, the Swedish restaurant recently rolled out cute whale buns with red bean filling in March. We’re not sure if this exact bun is still on the menu, so if you’re looking for something more permanent that’s no less unique, check out our Bei-Ing Dimsum Club review instead.
