Get IKEA meatballs from 29 June onwards

While plenty of restaurants welcomed dine-in customers on the first day of Circuit Breaker phase 2, IKEA was one of the few that decided to remain closed. However, from 29 June onwards, the Swedish restaurant will be open and you can get your favourite IKEA meatballs at their two outlets at Alexandra and Tampines.

Favourites such as Salmon Fillet With Vegetable Medallion And Lemon Dill Sauce ($9.90) will also be available, and diners can look forward to tucking into the restaurant’s signature deep-fried chicken wings as well.
Additional safe distance measures will be in place, and this would mean that soft drinks and coffee machines will not be available. On top of that, the condiment station will be closed, and chilli and ketchup packets will be given upon request.

There will also be revised operating hours for both IKEA restaurants. The Alexandra branch will open from 9am to 9pm on Sunday to Thursday, and from 9am to 10:30pm on Friday to Saturday.
Easties looking to head to the Tampines branch will have to take note of the revised opening hours of 10am to 9pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 10am to 10:30pm from Friday to Saturday.
Take note that orders will close 30 minutes before the stipulated closing time.
We expect the IKEA restaurant to get quite busy from next week onwards as Singaporeans start to satisfy their meatball cravings. As always, remember to wear a mask at all times and keep to a one-metre distance when queuing up.
