IKEA has decided to kick off the Lunar New Year festivities with an equally festive Chinese New Year menu, available at their restaurant and bistro. Celebrating the Chinese year of the tiger, IKEA has launched new Little Tiger Buns at $2 per piece. Filled with kaya, these cute buns will be available for purchase from 17 January onwards, till 28 February.

Their new seasonal menu also includes Mala Chicken Wings ($10 for six pieces), Plant Ball with Mala Spaghetti ($8), and Mala Pork Ribs and Vegetable Money Bag with Golden Fried Rice ($13.80).

For a sweet treat, try their Mandarin Orange Chocolate Cake ($4.80) or their new CNY donuts ($7.80).

These donuts can be found at the Swedish bistro, in designs such as sakura blossoms, mandarin oranges, and gold coins. IKEA’s Swedish Food Market is also offering special seasonal snacks, from Cranberry Pineapple Balls ($8.80 for 340g) to an assortment of cookies and flavours. Take your pick from Nutty Salted Caramel, Red Velvet Cheese, Strawberry Yogurt Oats, and White Chocolate Brownie. 

Furthermore, if you’re looking to host guests this year, IKEA’s Swedish Food Market has its very own bak kwa ($23.80 for 500g) and fresh mandarin oranges ($11.80 for 24 pieces).

Westies will be able to enjoy a special menu, exclusively available at the IKEA Jurong outlet. This includes the CNY Platter Set ($28.80), as well as other dishes such as Salmon with Chili Crab Sauce and Mantou ($5.80) and Curry Chicken with Bread ($5.80). These local dishes will be available daily from 11.30am to 3pm, on a rotational basis throughout the course of January and February.
