Lee’s Cafe in Batam Is A Korean-Style Cafe For Teddy Bear Lovers

Lee’s Cafe in Batam for Korean Food

Get whisked into a world of teddy bears at Lee’s Cafe, a cosy eatery with Korean vibes near Batam’s city centre. Conveniently located a 10-minute walk from Batam City Square Mall, the cafe dishes out affordable Korean fare for you to refuel on after shopping.

The teddy bear fantasy begins when you step into the cafe, as it is filled with teddy bears at each cornerincluding every table. Colourful lantern decor on the ceiling coupled with a neon sign with Korean words on the wall will make you feel as if you’ve been whisked off to Seoul.

For something hearty, go for the Kimchi Fried Rice (Rp 35,000++/~S$3+), which is a solid plate of fried rice with a sunny side up. Other food on the menu include Kimchi Ramen (Rp 38,000++/~S$3+) and Chicken Cheese Dakgalbi  (Rp 159,000++/~S$15+)a popular Korean dish made by stir-frying marinated diced chicken in a gochujang-based sauce.

Otherwise, there are Korean street snacks including the Korean Chicken Wings (Rp 50,000++/~S$4+), which were piquant and juicy when we had them. There’s also Mee Siam (Rp 22,000++/~S$2+) and Indomie Goreng (Rp 22,000++/~S$1+) if you’re craving local food.

End your meal on a sweet note with desserts such as Red Velvet Cake (Rp 33,000++/~S$3+) and Oreo Mousse (Rp 28,000++/~S$2+). We had the decadent Lava Cake (Rp 48,000++/~S$4+), which was rich and oozing with chocolatey lava.
