Supersized drinks are in right now, with Wong Fu Fu’s 5-litre matcha latte and Woobbee’s 2L bubble tea bucket popping up lately. Popular tea chain LIHO enters the fray with their 4-litre Tea-To-Share Tubs, available at all outlets except Changi Airport Terminal 2.Â
The tubs are all priced at $14.90 each, and come filled in a variety of flavours, including Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Summer Peach Strawberry, Tropical Mango Passion and more!Â
I’m a gula melaka fan, and the Gula Melaka Milk Tea really hit the spot for me. While you can’t add pearls to the drink, the sweet milk tea held up just fine on its own.Â
The Pink Guava Strawberry Punch was an amazing refresher, counteracting Singapore’s sweltering heat. The sweet guava and zesty lemon made for a perfect cooler, especially after lugging the 4L tubs back to the office!
You can also upgrade your tea base to their popular Jing Syuan or Jasmine Green Tea for an additional $3. Do allow up to 30 minutes for preparation, though we managed to get ours within 15 minutes.
The tubs come with a spout for easy pouring, and each tub is suitable for six to eight people. That works out to around $2 per person! You can even get these limited-edition tubs unfilled for $8.90 each.
