If you frequent Bugis, you may have come across Little Teahouse. Located along Victoria Street, a three-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station, the new kid on the block is Soup Restaurant’s first foray into dim sum!

Inspired by the teahouses in Chinatown during the 1950s to 1970s, Little Teahouse is a casual eatery that serves affordable dim sum with over 35 handmade items to choose from. The cheapest item on the menu is the Spring Roll, which goes for $2.90 for two pieces. All prices are nett, too!

Try Soup Restaurant’s famous Samui Ginger Chicken in the form of a bao here. The Samsui Ginger Chicken Bao ($4.60) comprises the restaurant’s signature chicken dish, marinated with ginger and packed in a fluffy bao. You can add some Samsui Ginger Sauce for an extra hit of flavour.

There’s also the uber-cute Mushroom Truffle Bao ($5.40): mushroom mince mixed with truffle paste, encased in a “mushroom” bun that’s dusted with cocoa and charcoal powder for a hyper-realistic look.

You won’t go wrong with the Lychee Prawn Ball with Mozzarella Cheese ($6), too. A hit among the young and old, this addictive treat comes with lychee bits tucked in a juicy prawn ball. Tear it open for a stretchy mozzarella cheese pull in the middle!

Other highlights from the huge menu include the Little Teahouse Signature Egg Tart ($4.60), which comes with an egg pudding that’s lightly charred on top, and the Crispy Prawn Cheong Fun ($6.90): steamed rice rolls with deep-fried crispy prawns in the centre.

Here’s another reason to visit: from now to 30 November 2023, enjoy 20% off all dim sum items! Check out our Facebook Reel for the full scoop.
