Magnolia Launches My Melody & Kuromi Ice Cream With Exclusive Merch

F&N Magnolia launches My Melody & Kuromi ice cream collab

As a Sanrio fan, I have zero self-control when it comes to Sanrio collabs, and this one definitely doesn’t help. F&N Magnolia has teamed up with My Melody & Kuromi for a new limited-edition collection, bringing the two characters’ contrasting personalities—My Melody’s sweetness and Kuromi’s cheekiness—in a new dessert lineup.

The star of the collaboration is the My Melody & Kuromi Strawberry and Yoghurt Ice Confection, made with real strawberries and creamy yoghurt. It’s available in multipacks of four for $8.40, or as individual sticks for $2.20, with the multipacks sold at major supermarkets and the individual sticks at convenience stores. You can also stock up on them at FairPrice Online and RedMart.

As I bit in, I found a pocket of semi-frozen, gooey strawberry syrup hidden inside, adding sweetness to each bite. Meanwhile, the strawberry yoghurt layer comes through milky with a slight tang, rounding out the overall flavour nicely.

The box shows red polka dots to represent strawberry bits, though visually, it doesn’t quite reflect what the packaging suggests. That said, the frozen strawberry bits are a nice touch, adding a bit of bite to each mouthful.

Alongside the new ice cream, F&N Magnolia’s Raspberry Ripple Tub ($6.42) has also been given a facelift, with the packaging now featuring Kuromi & My Melody imagery.

The Raspberry Ripple features creamy vanilla ice cream combined with streaks of tangy raspberry syrup. It’s reminiscent of the classic raspberry ripple flavour you’d find in ice cream parlours growing up, but less sweet, with the raspberry’s natural tang keeping things balanced.

The ripple effect isn’t just for show either—you get a proper hit of raspberry in almost every scoop, rather than it being buried at the bottom of the tub. Straight out of the freezer, the frozen raspberry syrup takes on an almost sorbet-like texture, adding a nice contrast to the smoothness of the vanilla base.

For those looking to snag some merch, F&N Magnolia is running a gift-with-purchase promotion from now until the end of October 2026. Customers who purchase two multipacks of the Strawberry and Yoghurt Ice Confection will receive a complimentary My Melody & Kuromi Travel Organiser Set, worth $19.90, while stocks last.
