If, for some reason, you’re craving both sushi and pizza, why not try Maguro Brothers’ latest item—the Sushi Pizza! In simple terms, this unique combination is quite literally sushi that is cut into a triangular pizza shape, topped with the usual ingredients you see on typical sushi. This Sushi Pizza, which went viral on TikTok, is also the first of its kind in Singapore.
There are five different flavours, namely Magurorita Pizza AKA bluefin tuna pizza, Salmon Terimayo Pizza, Chirashi Pizza, Grilled Chicken Pizza, and Spicy Salmon Pizza for you to choose from.Â
The most popular flavour is the Magurorita Pizza ($19.80++). This slice contains Maguro slices, mozzarella cheese, wasabi mayonnaise sauce, and oba leaves. This is perfect for seafood lovers!Â
There are also contrasting textures—the base of the pizza is deep-fried seaweed, which provides a crunchiness that goes well with the softer toppings.Â
Another must-try is the Chirashi Pizza ($17.80++), consisting of various cuts of salmon and tuna sashimi, as well as edamame. Dipping it into shoyu AKA soy sauce is recommended for more flavour.Â
Our personal favourite is the Salmon Terimayo Pizza ($16.80++) consisting of aburi salmon, teriyaki sauce, and mayonnaise. This flavour has a sweeter aftertaste, perhaps from the teriyaki sauce.Â
Pair your pizzas with their Floats ($8.80++)—they have three flavours, mango, green apple, and strawberry. Each of these drinks comes with gummies, soda, syrup, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This is a limited-edition drink, so get it while stocks last!Â
Maguro Brothers also offers lunch sets and affordable meals, so drop by if you’re working in the area! They are located at 100AM Mall, about a five-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station.Â
