McDonald’s Belgian Waffles Platter is back for breakfast

Here’s a friendly PSA to all McDonald’s fans: the fast food giant’s Belgian Waffles Platter has returned for breakfast!
McDonald’s To Launch New Cheesy Jalapeno Burgers And Truffle Cheese Shaker Fries
The set is priced from $8.95 for an Extra Value Meal, which includes a drink and a side: Hashbrown, Cup Corn, or the new Potato Pops (top up $1). You can also get the platter a la carte at $6.95.

Each platter comes with two crispy, chunky Belgian waffles, served with soft scrambled eggs and a savoury chicken sausage patty.

These waffles are best enjoyed in stores while they’re still warm, as we found them a little too hard after they’ve cooled down completely. We would have preferred them to be lighter and fluffier in texture.

Pair them with a generous drizzle of sweet syrup and a slab of cold butter, and you’ve got yourself a breakfast of champions! Alternatively, DIY a brekkie sandwich by stacking the egg and patty between the two waffles, then dipping it into some syrup for a sweet-savoury pairing.

If you can’t get enough of these golden squares, you can get the Two-Piece Belgian Waffles (from $3.90)Â as a top-up to any Breakfast Extra Value Meal.
As with most McDonald’s launches, the aforementioned items are available for a limited time, so get them while you can!
In related McDonald’s news, the fast food giant has launched a new Cheesy Jalapeno Burger, along with Truffle Cheese McShaker Fries. These are available at all outlets from 1 December 2025, after breakfast hours.
