Dessert lovers, you’ll want in on this: One18 Bakery has rolled out an all-you-can-eat pastry buffet at their new North Bridge Road outlet, a 10-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station!

The popular Muslim-owned bakery rose to internet fame when they launched in Tampines with a huge assortment of fresh croissants that can rival the ones you’ll find in trendy cafes.

They’ve recently opened their North Bridge cafe, where you’ll find a value-for-money pastry buffet at just $29.90 per person. Each slot runs for 90 minutes long, with the first slot starting at 11am and the last at 6:30pm. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot!

You’ll get to indulge in a wide assortment of fresh pastries, such as savoury croissants stuffed with Fried Chicken Satay, Sambal Ikan Billis, Chicken Briyani, and Tuna Kimchi. We enjoyed the savoury switch-up, offering something different from other usual sugar-laden pastries.

There’s even a Beef Rendang croissant that’s said to be a best-seller at their OG bakery, and for good reason—it reminded me of a zhng-ed up curry puff of sorts.

The range of sweet treats is more impressive; you’ll find fresh croissants filled with Creamy Pistachio, Roasted Hazelnut, and Speculoos Biscoff.

These striped croissants were buttery, and came chock-full of custard-like cream—perfect for when you want something a little more indulgent than your typical croissant.

They even have kunafa-topped croissants inspired by the craze that has been going around lately. These pastries struck a good balance between creamy and crispy textures thanks to the shredded bits atop the pastry.

If you’re a sucker for pistachio desserts like we are, you will especially like the pistachio flavour which boasts a rich nutty flavour.

That’s not all—the buffet includes other desserts such as Chocolate Brownies, Mini Cheesecakes, Madeleines, Macarons, and Chocolate Pudding Cups.

Another favourite dessert of ours was the madeleines which were moist and dense, offering a nice textural contrast from the soft and flaky pastries.

Cut through the richness with free-flow hot coffee, which are also included in the price of the buffet.

These drinks were nothing to shout about and tasted exactly like what you’d get from a self-serve coffee dispenser. But they are were a nice addition to the buffet nonetheless.

We rarely come across a pastry buffet, so here’s hoping this will become a permanent fixture on their menu!
