Pan’s Kopi has taro toast at Amoy Street Food Centre

If you’re craving a simple breakfast or midday pick-me-up in the CBD, Pan’s Kopi is one stall worth checking out. Located at Amoy Street Food Centre, a two-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, the humble hawker stall is gaining online attention for its wallet-friendly offerings.

The star here is the Taro Butter Toast ($3.50). Instead of the usual pandan kaya, it’s generously topped with orh nee (yam paste), naturally sweetened with a hint of coconut, and dotted with real taro chunks. The thick butter slabs melt into the crispy toast, perfectly complementing the earthy taro spread.

We also spotted Black Sesame Toast ($3) and Hazelnut Toast ($3) on the menu, along with the classic Kaya Butter ($2.50) and Peanut Butter ($2.50).

For all toasts, there’s the option to top up $2 for hot kopi or teh, as well as two soft-boiled eggs. If you want your drink iced, simply top up $2.50.

The stall’s Iced Matcha Latte is another must-try. Priced at just $3.50, this might be the cheapest iced matcha we’ve seen in Singapore!
For those who prefer traditional kopi with a twist, their specialty coffee menu starts from just $2 for a Hot Butter Kopi, with highlights including Iced Hazelnut Coffee ($3) and Iced Caramel Coffee ($3).
