There’s A New Pasar Malam In Punggol With Croissant Kunafa, Hot Plate Squid And More

Punggol residents, take note. Food Street is a new pasar malam in Punggol West that runs from now till 1 December 2024! The night market is located at 218 Sumang Walk, a nine-minute walk from Soo Teck LRT Station.

You can expect the popular Kunafa Tak Viral here, known for their trendy kunafa (or kunefe), a Middle Eastern dessert featuring shredded pastry and cheese soaked in sugar syrup.

Best-selling flavours include Pistachio Please ($14) and OG White Chocolate ($11). We also spotted Croissant Kunafa (price TBD) on the menu!

Those craving something savoury can head to Authentic Iron Plate Kung Fu Squid instead, which also made an appearance at the recent Woodlands pasar malam. Order their grilled Big Squid ($6) or Small Squid, priced at $10 for three pieces.

For a quick and fuss-free snack to enjoy on the go, check out The Original Pisang Keju‘s kiosk.

In case you didn’t know, pisang keju is a classic Indonesian dessert comprising deep-fried bananas fritters with cheese and various other toppings. Here, prices start at $8 for six pieces of their standard flavour, with options including Oreo and Chocolate. Otherwise, premium flavours such as Nutella and Biscoff go for $9 for six pieces.

Wash everything down with a refreshing drink at Bung Lemon Tea, popular for their hand-muddled lemon teas. Get the Coriander Black Tea ($5) or Bitter Gourd Green Tea ($5) to cut through all the sweetness and richness!

Besides the aforementioned items, you can also expect pasar malam staples such as Thai milk tea, Taiwanese street snacks, Thai skewers and more here.
