Good news for cafe lovers—Ralph’s Coffee is now open in Shaw Centre, right in the heart of Orchard Road! This is the second Ralph Lauren cafe to hit our island, after their first opened last July in Marina Bay Sands to much fanfare.
Where the Ralph’s Coffee at MBS was a pretty small space, this new cafe is more spacious, and even has a coffee cart outside the store!
The new space also has a more rustic, though polished, finish, with exposed beams and a large, whitewashed wooden counter. It also opens up into the Ralph Lauren boutique that’s been a key tenant at Shaw Centre.
The seating options are more plush here too, with leather sofas done up in Ralph Lauren’s signature green, and cushions to make for a more comfortable dining experience.
You’ll find the exact same menu here as at the MBS outlet, including a spread of cakes, cookies, sandwiches and more.
Ralph’s Chocolate Cake ($14) is a super fudgy and moist chocolate cake with four layers of dense chocolate sponge—we loved this when we tried it last year.
If you’re not a fan of chocolate, consider Ralph’s Cheesecake ($13), a classic New York-style cheesecake. Otherwise, there’s Coconut Cake ($14), or even Carrot Cake ($14).
Check out their glass display for the selection of cookies, though you could also go for Ralph’s Brownie ($8.50) or a slice of Blueberry Streusel Loaf Cake ($8.50).
Slightly drier than your usual fudgy brownie, their signature brownie is studded with chunks of chocolate, and is more crumbly, if that’s what you prefer.
Just in time for Chinese New Year, they’ve released a new Hazelnut Orange Cookie Sandwich (price TBD), with two large, soft cookies sandwiching a centre of crushed hazelnut butter and fresh orange peel. This cookie is on the menu till 2 March 2024.
Perfect for gifting is their Chinese New Year Set (from $42), which you can fill with six assorted cookies of your choice.
For a more filling meal option, go for the Beef Pastrami Sandwich (price TBD), filled with juicy slices of beef brisket that are made to Ralph’s Coffee’s recipe.
Also available at Shaw Centre is the Singapore-exclusive Ralph’s Coffee Soft Serve ($9), made on the premises with their very own Ralph’s Roast: the brand’s house blend of beans.
Coffee lovers, your brew here is made with a La Marzocco—one of the best commercial coffee machines around. A Ralph’s Coffee is priced from $5.50, otherwise a Mocha or Sea Salt Caramel Latte is priced from $8.
For a non-caffeinated option, their Hot Chocolate ($8) is a milky drink prepared with Varlhona chocolate!
Besides the chocolate cake, our top pick at Ralph’s Coffee is Pineapple Shaken Tea ($8), a refreshing iced drink that you won’t find at any Ralph Lauren cafe in countries other than Singapore.
Other new, limited-time additions to the line-up are Valentine’s Day special drinks, which will be available till 31 March 2024. These include Strawberry Rose Matcha Latte (from $8.50), which you can get iced or hot, as well as Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha ($8.50), a decadent cuppa topped with red velvet crumbs.
Merch collectors, don’t miss the Singapore-exclusive Sttoke Lite cup ($69) printed with the iconic Ralph’s Coffee barista bear, against the backdrop of our very own Marina Bay Sands and Merlion!
