27th July 2023

Best Sentosa beach clubs guide

If you ask me, there’s nothing more relaxing than a fun day at the beach, sippin’ on some cocktails as the sea breeze blows through my hair. Singapore is an island after all, and we’ve got our fair share of chio beach clubs that can rival those in Krabi and Bali. If you’re in need of a beach vacay but can’t squeeze in a quick escape anytime soon, we’ve got you covered with this list of eight Sentosa beach clubs you should definitely check out.

1. Bikini Bar

Bikini Bar is basically an alfresco bar on Siloso Beach complete with a pool table, beer pong table, and TV screens for sports fans to catch the latest live matches. The vibrant bar offers cocktails, shooters, and beer on tap, along with bussin’ bar bites to keep hunger at bay. We’ve heard good things about their Beef Satay ($18++), served with grated pineapple and drenched in a moreish peanut sauce.

Rumour has it that Rumours Beach Club is one of the hottest spots for sun-worshippers in Singapore, but what we know for a fact is that it’s the only beach bar in Sentosa with three swimming pools! Plus, they’re pet-friendly too, which means your fur babies are welcome at certain areas such as the picnic tables, daybeds, beach loungers, and private pool.

Fuel up before you booze up with delectable nibbles such as Kimchi Fries ($14.80++) and Tempeh Chips ($15.80++), or go for their hearty mains, including Indonesian Fried Rice ($22.80++) and BBQ Pork Ribs ($44.80++). For tipples, we recommend La Vie En Rose ($16.8++), a champagne cocktail with peach liquor, strawberry liquor, and Prosecco.

Tanjong Beach Club is touted as Singapore’s OG beach club, and was even ranked as the World’s Top Beach Bar by Condé Naste in 2014. With sun beds offering unobstructed views of the beach and gorgeous infinity pools for you to swim in, it’s no wonder this beach club is immensely popular among locals and tourists alike.

The food here is spectacular as well, with crowd favourites being the Tanjong Burger ($30++) and Tanjong Brekkie Roll ($24++). The former sees a loaded burger packed with a flame-grilled Tajima Wagyu patty, while the latter is a brunch favourite featuring applewood-smoked bacon, cabbage slew, capsicum salsa, and a sunny-side up.

If you’re coming with a big group, go for their drink packages from $350. The most basic option, Party Cheers, gets you 10 bottles of beer and a bottle of spirit.

We recommend the Huli Chicken Poke ($24++), comprising a hearty bowl of butter cauliflower rice topped with house salad, ebiko, chicken, and kimchi. Pair this with Ola’s signature cocktails such as Hala Lei ($20++), a zesty number made up of gin, pineapple juice, and chamomile tea, or the Ola Huli Pau ($18++): rum, Paven liqueur, watermelon, and mint.
