SKAI, the skyscraping restaurant-bar in Swissotel The Stamford, is well-known for their gorgeous themed high teas, available for a limited time only. For May, the skyscraping restaurant is switching gears to offer a stunning Swarovski-themed high tea, held in collaboration with the famed Austrian crystal jewellers.Â
The SKAI Swarovski high tea will be available from 1 May to 31 May, from 3pm to 5pm daily. Each set is priced at $68++ per adult and $34++ per child, aged six to twelve. Your fee includes a mocktail and your choice of TWG tea or Gourmet Coffee Selections. If you fancy a cocktail, it’s an additional $10++.Â
The picture-perfect high tea menu is inspired by Swarovski’s latest collection, so expect beautifully presented light bites, both sweet and savoury. There are a total of 12 items on the high tea menu.Â
For savouries, your set starts with a pastel pink Mortadella, Cherry, and Salsa Verde brioche sandwich—almost too pretty to eat. Then, you get a Scottish Salmon Rillette Kueh Pie Tee, an elevated take on the classic Nyonya snack, complete with a dusting of silver powder. Another savoury highlight is the King Crab, Yuzu, and Sorrel treat, made with Japanese king crab.
The sweets are particularly visually appealing, all of them inspired by Swarovski’s icons. The Hazelnut Praline Yuzu Vanilla Swan Choux, for instance, is crafted to resemble the brand’s swan logo, while the Golden Raspberry Rose Mascarpone Octagon Sable comes topped with an edible pink jelly shaped just like a diamond!
While the SKAI Swarovski high tea is great for catching up with friends on an off day, it’s also something you can consider reserving for Mother’s Day! The restaurant will also have Swarovski’s latest collection displayed on-site, in case you’re looking to treat your mom, or yourself, to something special.Â
