SLUSHYAH is a new DIY slushie kiosk at *SCAPE
The next time you’re in Somerset, do yourself a favour and head to the newly opened SLUSHYAH at *SCAPE. This adorable kiosk is dubbed Singapore’s first self-serve slushie bar, serving up refreshing drinks to beat the heat.
SLUSHYAH’s drinks are available in two sizes: Regular for $6.80 and Large for $7.70.
Liven up your drink at their DIY bar, where a variety of toppings are yours to enjoy at no additional cost.
There are eight signature toppings, including Popping Boba, chewy Taiwan Boba Pearls, silky Coconut Noodles, fragrant Sakura Jelly Balls, bouncy Nata De Coco cubes and more.
There’s no need to hold back as all the toppings are free-flow!
If the unlimited toppings aren’t enough, elevate your drink with a pump of their house-made fruit syrups.
The syrups are made with real fruit concentrates, so expect fresh, sweet, and tangy flavours without any artificial aftertaste.
They’ve got nine flavours to choose from. Highlights include the Strawberry, Green Apple, Lemon, and Lychee.
FYI, the syrups can get quite cloying, so we recommend sticking to their pump guide: one pump for a regular cup and one and a half pumps for a large cup.
When you’re done with customing your drinks, head over to the slushie station.
When we visited, four flavours were available: Bandung, Milo, Thai Tea, and Signature.
We enjoyed the Bandung, which was sweet and creamy with a pronounced floral fragrance.
The Milo was filled with rich, malty flavours, perfect for any chocolate lover.
For something lighter on the palate, get the Signature. We enjoyed its subtle sweetness paired with a warm, soothing hint of ginger. Its simple base makes for a great match with the flavourful syrups, too.
The Thai Tea was our favourite of the lot, starring a velvety blend of sweetened milk and aromatic black tea.
SLUSHYAH is located on the second level of *SCAPE, a seven-minute walk from Somerset MRT Station and a nine-minute walk from Orchard MRT Station. Do note that there are no dine-in seats, as it operates as a grab-and-go kiosk.
