South Side Keppel is a brunch cafe with rosti in six flavours
Here’s a hidden gem not many know of: nestled in Keppel, the South side of Singapore, is a chio brunch cafe by the name of South Side Keppel. Their menu sees an extensive selection of items ranging from brunch dishes to dinner mains, so there’s bound to be something for everyone to enjoy here.

You can find rosti in six flavours here, namely Rosti ($12++), Smoked Salmon ($20++), Grilled Salmon ($22++), Cheese and Mushroom ($18++), Smashed Avo and Onsen Egg ($18++), and Wagyu Steak and Ikura ($26++). The former is a plain rosti topped with sour cream and a lemon wedge!

If you’re dropping by during lunch, their rosti with grilled salmon or Wagyu steak will make for a hearty meal. Those looking for a vegetarian or meat-free alternative can try the other flavours instead.Â

There’s also the Crispy Chicken & Waffle ($22++), which features a waffle topped with fried boneless chicken leg, and drizzled with maple syrup. It also comes with a sunny side-up and bacon jam!

We can’t forget about desserts—their tarts come in four different flavours, namely Goma Flan ($9++), Lychee Rose ($9++), Passionfruit Meringue ($9++), and Duo Chocolate ($9++). For something more unique, have a scoop of their ice cream that comes in four flavours as well: Smoked Cheese And Honey Comb, Soya Bean Gelato, Strawberry Basil Sorbet, and Pistachio Gelato. Each scoop is priced at $6++.

Else, they also offer Earl Grey Lavender Burnt Cheesecake as a slice ($8++) or whole cake ($53++). This beautiful cake features a creamy and fragrant earl grey and lavender-infused cream cheese topped with ganache.Â

The cafe is adorned with wooden and rattan furniture, and the floor-to-ceiling windows welcome natural light in during the day.Â
