Stickies Bar Has $1 Beers, $10 Bucket Deals, And Promos For Teachers This September

Stickies Bar has $1 beers and more near NTU

Stickies Bar is a familiar name in Singapore’s nightlife scene, having been around since 2014. Though many of us remember their Keng Chow Terrace and Dhoby Ghaut bars as hotspots for pre-drinking before hitting the clubs, drinkers living in the West will be happy to know that Stickies has recently opened a new location in Jurong, just a 10-minute ride away from NTU.

If you’re living in the NTU campus or in the Jurong area, and you’re looking for a TGIF spot, then Stickies Bar should be on your to-visit list.

They’ve got a direct shuttle bus from Pioneer MRT Station’s Exit B—check out the schedule below—and a whole slew of promotions in the month of September at all Stickies outlets.

First up, their popular Beer O’Clock gets a revamp for this month only. Now titled Bucket O’Clock, drinkers will get to enjoy buckets of Tiger Crystal beers from just $10++ each at 2pm.

Prices increase every hour. Each bucket comes with five beers.

Purchase a bucket, and you and your kakis get to play any game off Stickies’ extensive Let’s Get Wild games menu for free, from card games such as Truth Or Drink, King’s Cup, and Beer Connect, to beer pong, and Jenga. 

The Jurong location is also home to an exclusive jumbo beer pong game, where you throw balls into buckets, rather than cups.

Speaking of beer pong, if you’ve got the skills, consider heading down on a Friday night to compete in the King Pong Gone Wild Beer Pong Tournament. 

Held from 7:30pm onwards, opponents get to battle it out on the beer pong table for a chance to walk away with half of the prize pool. The winner is the person who trumps five consecutive games.

We really enjoyed how the bar is spacious, with high ceilings so it doesn’t feel too crowded, even though Friday nights there can get busy.

Stickies Bar is not all drinks either. They’re open all day, and have a full-fledged food menu that includes both bar snacks and mains. Choose from rice bowls, pastas, pizzas, and fried bites to accompany your booze order. 

If you’re a fan of donburi bowls, the Aburi Salmon Don ($12.90+) is a great bet. The bowl comes with pearl grain rice, and slices of aburi-ed salmon, topped with a smoky mentaiko mayo sauce.

Otherwise, choose from their pizzas, which are great for sharing, and are priced from $17.90++ for flavours such as Pepperoni.

Order any main course and enjoy a Tiger Crystal or Heineken Silver beer for just $1++, from 12pm to 6pm daily.

Finally, if you’re a teacher, swing by with a red pen and get a bottle of Heineken Silver at only $4++! The more red pens you bring, the more cheap beers you get. Note that this promotion is also running for the duration of September 2022 only.
