Home-based businesses are levelling up their game these days. For instance, there’s The Sunday Brunch, a reservations-only home cafe with a menu that changes with the month. On that note, we’ve also recently discovered The Long Weekend Pizza, a home-based bakery selling wood-fired pizzas from Fridays to Sundays, 5:30pm to 9pm.

The home-based pizzeria is located along St Patrick’s Road in East Coast. There’s a full-fledged, wood-fired pizza grill that takes centre stage, with operations held in the front yard of the house.

As each pizza is fired-to-order, it’s recommended to call or WhatsApp the business at 8913 0331 in advance to place your order. Else, if you’ve got time to spare, simply walk in during their opening hours, order on the spot, and wait for your pizzas to be baked! Only self-collection is available at the moment.

A popular flavour is the Pepperoni ($20), which comes with cured pork salami rounds atop The Long Weekend Pizza’s signature base. Online reviewers rave about the lightly charred pizza crust, complemented by a soft and doughy middle.

Fans also love the Mushr0om & Truffle Oil ($20) pizza, which combines mushroom slices with fragrant truffle oil, sans tomato sauce. Otherwise, if you’re going all out, order their most expensive flavour: Meat Mania ($23). This hearty pie stars ground beef, sausages, pepperoni, and bacon.

They’ve got the oh-so-popular Hawaiian ($20) flavour too, where savoury ham slices meet sweet and juicy pineapple chunks.
