If you’re working in the CBD and are constantly on the hunt for hearty and comforting ramen to power you through the day, Tori San has got your back, serving up bowls of Tokyo-style toripaitan ramen at Telok Ayer!

Tori San hails from Taiwan, where they currently have six outlets. Their first foray into Singapore is the newest addition to the CBD ramen scene, joining the likes of Mensho X—also specialising in toripaitan ramen—and Kiwami, which recently introduced a ramen buffet at their Guoco Tower outlet.

Their Signature Toripaitan Chicken Broth Ramen ($12.90) is surprisingly affordable given its prime location, and features chicken breast, grilled chicken meatballs, springy noodles, and their specialty chicken broth.

Multiple reviews praise the broth for being clean, light, and not too heavy yet not skimping on flavour, which is perfect for those who prefer a lighter meal between work. The grilled chicken pieces are also said to be flavourful and tender.

For something unique, go for the Sakura Yuzu Broth Ramen ($12.90), which features an even lighter broth made with yuzu and pomelo for a zesty refreshment, perfect for the hot Singapore weather.

If you’re feeling peckish for something more atas without breaking the bank, you can get their Truffle Umami Toripaitan Chicken Broth Ramen and Truffle and Porcini Broth Ramen for just $13.90 each. These enhance their signature broths with truffle, creating an earthy, complex aroma.

Those with bigger appetites can go for add-ons, most notably the Onsen Egg ($1.50). You can also order yakitori on the side, with the 3-Skewer Platter featuring thigh, meatballs, and breast skewers for $7.90.

The restaurant offers diners a free shot of Lemon Calpis Slush as a sampler, and you can get a full-sized glass for $4.90.

Tori San is located right above Telok Ayer MRT Station, and its central location makes it a great pit stop for workers in the CBD.
