Tous Les Jours opens at Bukit Pasoh with famous Korean bread
Just a few months after its debut at Northpoint City, famous Korean bakery Tous Les Jours has set up a second shop in the CBD. The new bakery-cafe is located along Bukit Pasoh Road, a short walk from Tanjong Pagar, Outram Park, and Maxwell MRT Stations.

For the uninitiated, the popular bakery chain has over 1,000 outlets globally, including Indonesia and China.
Their second outlet in Singapore is the ideal spot for those working in the area to grab a post-lunch pick-me-up. There are a few tables for you to dine at, should you wish to take a break and enjoy your buns.
You’ll find an impressive selection of freshly baked buns in Korean-inspired flavours, including the K-Hotteok Bread ($2.50).
Inspired by hotteok, a popular Korean pancake, each bun is filled with a mix of brown sugar, honey, and nuts and seeds for crunch. I thought the sweet and nutty filling paired well with the soft and fluffy bread.
If you’d like something simpler in flavour, consider the Magical Milk Cream Bun ($2.50).
You get a soft bun filled with a smooth and milky cream in the middle. I found myself wishing for more cream to go with the bread, which tasted rather plain on its own.
Then there’s the Royal Chocolate Bun ($1.80), a palm-sized treat packed with a bittersweet cocoa middle that wasn’t too cloying.
You’ll also find other popular bakes on display, including their Premium Pastry Egg Tart ($3.30), starring layers of flaky pastry encasing a rich custard middle.
We recommend ordering some coffee to enjoy with your bakes. The Iced Cafe Latte ($5.50) had the perfect balance of creamy milk and strong coffee, while the Iced Caramel Macchiato ($6.40) was sweetened just right.
As seats are limited, it might be wise to avoid the peak lunch or brunch hours on the weekends.
