The Avocado Factory has avocado pancakes and sourdough in Canggu
If there’s ever such a thing as an avocado pilgrimage, then a visit to The Avocado Factory in Canggu, Bali should be on the itinerary. This charming eatery boasts an extensive menu where the creamy green fruit takes centre stage in almost every dish, ranging from breakfast delights to coffee concoctions and even cocktails.
One of the highlights here is the Avo Pancakes (IDR80K/~S$7.17). These fluffy avocado pancakes are topped with juicy bananas and strawberries, served alongside decadent chocolate gelato, and drizzled with maple syrup.
Another standout dish is the Spicy Mash (IDR50K/~S$4.48), a delightful creation featuring a slice of thick sourdough topped with a tantalising blend of avocado, mushrooms, and chilli powder.
And when it comes to beverages, The Avocado Factory doesn’t disappoint, too. Some of the recommended choices include the Avo-Coco Dream (IDR40K/~S$3.58), which combines avocado, banana, and yoghourt, and the Cafe Suave (IDR49K/~S$4.39), a coconut milk-infused espresso beverage.
Interestingly, The Avocado Factory shares its space with another cafe, BB52 Burgers. They’re known for their savoury eats such as The BB52 (IDR85K/~S$7.69) cheeseburger and the Pork Belly Slides (IDR90K/~S$8.13), both of which are made with succulent and well-prepared meat. And so with many avocado-based dishes and delicious burgers to try, we’d say that a visit to The Avocado Factory is well worth it.
