Baristart Coffee has Teh Tarik Cream Puff
Baristart Coffee is constantly whipping up new exciting flavours of custard cream puffs━from their matcha cream puffs, to the recent premium chocolate series. Now, they are back with a locally inspired edition, specially created for National Day.
Tapping on our nation’s love for teh, Baristart has come up with the Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7). This cream puff will be available exclusively from 9 to 31 August 2023 at both Baristart Coffee’s outlets at Tras Street and Sentosa for dine-in and takeaways.
The signature choux puff is loved for its light and airy bite, dusted lightly with icing sugar as a finishing touch.
A number of us on the team had the opportunity to taste the cream puff and it was an instant hit for its legit teh tarik flavour. In case you missed it, the drink holds a special place in our hearts, so much so we ranked the best teh stalls in Singapore.
This cream puff is crafted with Baristart Coffee’s very own freshly made signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk custard, which is lusciously creamy. It is then infused with Ceylon tea leaves, giving a familiar teh tarik kick with its floral, lightly bitter tea flavour.

If you’re looking for more special National Day delights, check out Tiong Bahru Bakery’s National Day collab with Birds of a Feather! The two brands have come together to create unique locally inspired dishes such as their Mala Beef Croissant ($13), Rojak Burger ($12) and more.
As part of the collection, Tiong Bahru Bakery zhnged up their signature kouign amann to release a Kopi Pecan Kouign Amann ($7). This pastry incorporates Hainanese kopi gu you, AKA kopi butter, adding bitter notes of coffee to the sweet pastry.
