Nanyang Dao specialises in Malaysian fare, so you can expect all the classic Malaysian hawker favourites here.
A must-try is the Seleyang Big Bowl Curry Mee ($9.90++), where a huge bowl of yellow noodles is topped with beancurd skin, boiled egg, fried pork belly, prawns and more, then doused with a rich and hearty curry gravy.
The Penang Fried Kway Teow ($7.50++)Â is another signature. Stir-fried with bean sprouts, prawns, fish cake, and lup cheong, this hawker staple is said to boast a good level of wok hei.
For something more sinful, order the KL Hokkien Mee ($7.80++), comprising thick noodles fried with an umami-packed dark sauce, cabbage, fish cake, pork slices, and prawns.
