Pasta Papa is a new Italian cafe by influencer Lukey Chan
If you’re regularly on TikTok, you may have come across some of Lukey Chan’s videos. Marked by his “ah beng” persona and slapstick humour, these videos have turned Lukey into a major local influencer. Now, the 27-year-old is charting new waters with the opening of his Italian cafe Pasta Papa, located within Bukit Merah Central’s Sports Lifestyle Centre.

Set just beside the sports complex’s pool, Pasta Papa has a nice al fresco vibe that makes it suitable for both date nights and casual meals alike.
The open-air concept also enables one of the cafe’s unique selling points: their Cook Your Own Pasta sets.
Priced at $39.90 for two, diners will get to literally cook pasta at their table, with appetisers, soup, and dessert rounding off the meal.
As you whip up your pasta, there’s even an interactive guide to assist you. Those who aren’t the most confident in their cooking skills can rest assured that it provides adequate guidance.
While the outcome of this cooking session ultimately depends on your skill, the whole process is simple enough that most will be able to produce a half-decent plate of pasta—such as the Seafood Aglio e Olio that Lukey himself made for us. You can also get the same plate of pasta a la carte for $13.90.
Other pasta options here include the Bolognese ($10.90), Carbonara ($11.90), and Pasta Alle Vongole ($13.90). All three of these pasta dishes can also be chosen for the Cook Your Own Pasta set.
Aside from pasta, you can also get treats such as Truffle Fries ($9.50), Dirty Nachos ($9.90), Flame Torched Smoked Duck ($6.90) and more. Pasta Papa is a 15-minute walk away from Redhill MRT Station, so Westies looking for a new makan spot should consider checking out this interesting new eatery.
