Located in a heritage shophouse, the new store and cafe takes inspiration from old teahouses that once filled Chinatown.

The facade of the store features a striking hand-painted mural by local creative collective Tell Your Children (TYC), paying homage to Chinatown’s rich heritage.

Upon entering, you’ll find CHAGEE’s first retail boutique store in Singapore.

Take your time to browse the shelves while waiting for your drink. The retail section offers Singapore-exclusive merchandise, including tumblers and collectibles. There’s also a limited capsule collection co-designed with TYC.

Over at the cafe area, the space resembles a cosy living room, combining warm timber tones, patterned tiles, and communal seating.

Sip on your favourite CHAGEE drink—their signature range of milk teas and brewed teas is served here.

We’re fans of the Teapresso Latte series, which comes in two flavours: Da Hong Pao Tea Latte ($5.90) and Lapsang Souchong Tea Latte ($5.90).

The beverage highlights concentrated tea “shots,” extracted in a way similar to espresso, resulting in a rich and flavourful brew.

When combined with fresh milk, you get a creamy yet robust tea that’s reminiscent of teh, but cleaner in taste. We’d recommend getting this without sugar to fully appreciate the tea’s fragrance.

A small lineup of cakes are available too; we’re eyeing the Oolong Macchiato Mousse Cake ($6.90) and Floral Osmanthus Pandan Cake ($7.20).

Visitors can also look forward to a series of interactive cultural experiences, including palm-reading workshops, calligraphy sessions with local artists, and guided photo walks that showcase Chinatown’s hidden gems.

Previously, CHAGEE went viral for their cute tea plushies and Hacipupu collab. Here’s hoping there’ll be more exciting collabs to come!
