Having arrived in Singapore back in 2018, patrons of their SO France DUO restaurant will be familiar with their comforting French fare and wines.

The restaurant prides itself on serving authentic French cuisine: think hearty mains including Duck Confit Gratin ($28++) with mashed potatoes and Steak Frites ($42++), featuring beef striploin, mesclun salad, French fries, and Bearnaise sauce

Beyond the dining experience, guests can also visit the gourmet store to browse a selection of over 1,000 gourmet products sourced from artisanal producers across France.

Meanwhile, SO France Cafe offers artisanal French pastries and delights, ranging from their Ham and Cheese Quiche ($12++) to Le Poulet Sandwich ($12++), which is made up of chicken, mayo, and arugula.

In a Facebook post on 13 January, SO France said that the decision was made with “heavy hearts, yet immense gratitude”. The brand then thanked customers for allowing them be part of their everyday moments over the years.

They also welcomed patrons to dine at the restaurant one last time before its closure, marking a bittersweet close to the brand’s chapter in Singapore.
