If you’re all about convenience and good food, 54 Steakhouse is one for the books this Valentine’s Day. Located in the CBD, this popular steakhouse is rolling out a special four-course menu for lunch and dinner only on 13 February and 14 February.

Expect a romantic candlelit dinner over the Valentine’s Menu ($168++ per person), which begins with two bite-sized appetisers: Robbins Island Beef Carpaccio topped with fresh sea urchin, followed by a toasty Potato Brioche paired with caramelised onion butter and beef tallow. The mains are the highlight here, where you can choose between 220g of Black Onyx Filet Mignon or 170g of Kagoshima Wagyu Striploin. Whichever you get, it comes with creamed spinach and mac and cheese on the side. End your night on a sweet note with a cream and vanilla cheesecake with Japanese strawberries!

For legit steak in a laid-back setting, consider Fat Belly in Bukit Timah. The steakhouse will launch a Valentine’s Day Set Menu ($98++ per person), available exclusively for dinner on February 14.

Your meal starts with the unique Tuna Tartare Tostada, featuring a crispy wonton skin topped with tuna tartare, which goes well with the accompanying avocado cream and marinated salmon caviar. After you’re done, you’ll be served an appetiser and an entree, followed by the main course: Mayura Station Wagyu Tri Tip MS-8/9 or Primrose Butcher’s Pork Steak. Dessert is our favourite part—the Spiced Wine Pear Pavlova crowns the meal with crisp meringue, billows of cream, crunchy pistachios, and a sweet-tangy raspberry wine sauce.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t always have to mean steak and wine. This year, discover something a little different at Ichigo Ichie, a Japanese restaurant built around the kappo concept—an intimate style of dining where you’re invited to slow down and experience thoughtfully crafted dishes up close.

The chef has put together a special 7-Course Menu ($388++ per person), starting with a live calligraphy moment where “love” is written right on your plate. While the exact seven courses aren’t confirmed—since most Japanese restaurants design their menus around seasonal ingredients—you can expect a thoughtful balance of cold and hot dishes, all prepared with the freshest produce available.

There’s no better way to impress your significant other than bringing them to Lawry’s The Prime Rib. The popular restaurant at Mandarin Gallery is dubbed the go-to destination for special occasions, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. Make 14 February a special one with the Valentine’s Day 6-Course Set Menu, priced at $480 per couple. If you can’t make it on the actual day’s lunch or dinner, consider 13 February instead.

The feast begins with a memorable appetiser, The First Catch: tempura jumbo prawn and scallop seasoned with curry salt, wasabi aioli, and some lemon zest to cut through the spice. This is followed by a selection of light starters to whet your appetite—think fresh salads and comforting mushroom soup—before the highlight: the Signature Prime Rib of Eternal Love or the Ultimate Temptation. Behind the playful names are serious indulgences: slow-roasted USDA prime rib of beef that’s fork-tender, and a deeply marbled 450g bone-in Black Angus ribeye.

We recommend making your reservation by 6 February to enjoy our Early Bird Promotion with 10% off the set menu. As a bonus, the first 50 diners who book a dinner reservation will receive exclusive door gifts! Psst, American Express Platinum and Centurion Cardholders can indulge in an even sweeter privilege with 15% off if you make your reservation by 10 February

Meadesmoore Steakhouse is another CBD steakhouse that serves as a popular Valentine’s Day destination for a solid dining experience. We recommend getting the best experience with the Valentine’s Day Set Menu, which comprises Grilled Kujukushima Oyster, an appetiser that’s grilled over charcoal and served with horseradish sauce, dill oil, and a touch of tangy greens. As for mains, there are both meat and seafood options at Meadesmoore—get the Dry Aged 2GR Wagyu Picanha MS 8/9 & Beef Cheek Daube to try one of the steakhouse’s cuts, or the Cured Monkfish Croustillant paired with smoky asparagus, a citrusy-buttery sauce, and some pickled shiso.

Another spot with splendid views is Monti, an Italian restaurant at Singapore’s Fullerton Pavilion, offering the best panoramic sweep of Marina Bay. There are two course menus to celebrate the special occasion: the Monti 4-course Dinner Menu ($198++ per person) from 13 February to 15 February and the Monti 5-course Dinner Menu ($230++ per person) exclusively on 14 February.

If you’re after something flexible in terms of time, the Monti 4-course Dinner Menu is a solid pick. It kicks off with their Signature Truffle Focaccia—fluffy bread topped with truffle ricotta, aged balsamic, and extra virgin olive oil. Once you’ve made your way through the appetisers and starters, the star of the show hits the table: the Filetto di Wagyu Sanchoku in Amarone, served with crispy fried scamorza, broccolini, and fermented garlic. There’s also the Merluzzo Arrosto, a roasted white fish with creamy cannellini beans and salsa verde for a lighter, seafood-forward option.

The menu keeps things easy and approachable, kicking off with The M’s Salad Bowl: a colourful mix of shredded veggies, chickpeas, avocado, strawberries and more, all tossed in a punchy sesame-lime vinaigrette. Up next is the Surf & Turf Platter, a satisfying spread featuring a bone-in halibut steak, sauteed tiger prawns, oven-roasted half spring chicken, and Black Angus striploin. It’s rich but not overwhelming, thanks to sides of grilled kimchi and greens that help cut through the heaviness.
