Sutera Mall is probably the best one-stop shop for your Chinese New Year prep, with over 100 booths at their CNY fair selling everything from snacks to festive gifts. Snack lovers can look out for goodies like Spicy Shrimp Rolls and Salted Egg Fish Skin, going at 2 bottles for RM30. It’s honestly a steal for your bai nian stash.

You’ll also be rewarded for spending more: spend RM788 to redeem a foldable travel bag and limited-edition red packets, or RM1,188 to score premium abalone and red packets, while stocks last.

The fair runs from 16 January to 16 February 2026, 10:30am to 10:30pm daily.

Running from 23 January to 16 February, this bazaar opens from 6am all the way till 12 midnight, making it perfect for night owls who want to shop late and drive back after the jams die down.

Located near Johor Jaya Night Market Food Street, this bazaar goes beyond just snacks. Besides classic CNY goodies, you’ll also find fresh fruits, durians, and other produce. It’s a good market to go to if you want to stock up on fruits for your guests before heading home.

If your bai nian plans include gifting hampers, AEON Mall Tebrau City should be at the top of your list. This year’s CNY bazaar stretches across the entire ground floor, from the food hall to the AEON supermarket, with dozens of pop-up stalls offering festive treats, snacks, and an impressive selection of hampers.

There are over 10 stalls dedicated to hamper displays, featuring a wide range of well-known Malaysian brands. According to shoppers, it’s “hamper paradise”—many booths even offer delivery to Singapore, making your gifting game much easier.

Look out for Hock Kee, known for coffee and cookies in charming, gift-ready packaging, and Tianje, which sells modern bakes like Houjicha Sablé Nantais and Peanut Cereal Cookies. You can also catch lion dance performances and mascot appearances, including the crowd-favourite Da Shen mascot, to round out the festive atmosphere.

Look out for deals too, like the bundle offer from Yong Sheng, a Singaporean-Malaysian bakery.

You can buy 3 tins of premium CNY cookies for RM99.80. The bazaar runs till 15 February 2026.

While shopping, you’ll get to enjoy thundering lion dance performances, traditional Hanfu dress-up opportunities, and Tang Dynasty-inspired décor for the ultimate throwback experience.

The full vendor list is still being confirmed, but past editions by The Rows Market have featured crowd-pleasers like Bakey Bakey and Bagan Store, so expect a great lineup of food and festive goodies. The market runs from 4pm to 11pm daily, great for an after-dinner wander with friends or family.

Closer to Chinese New Year, Paradigm Mall is worth a visit. Especially for folks who love a bit of nostalgia. The mall gets decked out with giant lantern installations, zodiac displays, and decorative arches from late January, which gives you all the feels while you get your CNY shopping done.

Make a pit stop at Childhood on Level GF, where you’ll find old-school treats in biscuit tins and loose snacks sold by the gram. Don’t miss the Biscuit Mafa (from RM6/100g)—great for sharing or gifting during bai nian rounds. For extra convenience, free shuttle buses will depart from multiple locations across Singapore on 31 Jan and 7 Feb, including Tampines MRT, One Punggol, Choa Chu Kang MRT, and even Yishun MRT, so you can just be a passenger princess and skip the traffic jams stress-free.

7. KSL City

If you’re already planning a shopping run, the KSL City CNY bazaar makes for a convenient pit stop. While the mall’s Lunar New Year setup leans more towards retail, you’ll spot pop-up stalls on the ground floor selling CNY food goodies—think snacks and treats you can grab without going out of your way.

The selection here is smaller compared to standalone bazaars, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s ideal if you’re already at KSL and just want to pick up some quick CNY essentials before heading off. And if shopping works up an appetite, don’t forget to check out our KSL City food guide for nearby makan spots to refuel after.
