CBD folks, there’s a new matcha spot for you to check out! MOOF, a specialty matcha bar, has just opened in Shenton Way, a four-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station.

The item I’m most excited about is the Black Sesame Matcha ($8.50): a matcha latte spiked with nutty black sesame paste, topped with house-made black sesame brittle.

The Strawberry Royal Milk Pudding ($9) offers a fun riff on the classic strawberry matcha latte, zhnged up with creamy milk pudding.

For an unadulterated taste of their matcha, made with homegrown brand Mori Matcha, get their Matcha Latte, priced at $7 for a regular version and $9 for the premium.

Those sensitive to caffeine can opt for the Hojicha Latte ($7), made with roasted green tea, which contains less caffeine than matcha.

Alternatively, the Pickled Ume and Plum Ice Tea ($7) is a refreshing choice on a hot day.

The cafe also offers a small selection of bakes, though the menu might evolve over time.
