Pawfect Fruit, tucked inside Lam Soon Industrial Building in Hillview, operates a unique “fruit buffet” concept where you pay $8.90 for a small box or $19.90 for a large box and fill it to the brim with fresh fruits and vegetables—as long as the lid closes, it’s yours. The produce on offer includes seasonal highlights, Japanese fruits, and a wide variety of vegetables.
The catch? It’s housed in a giant cold room maintained at around 3°C (complimentary winter jackets are available at the door), and the concept exists to give a second life to surplus or cosmetically imperfect—but perfectly edible—produce rejected by retailers. Staff are friendly and will repack everything neatly into bags once you’re done.
