Atrium Restaurant Has 1-For-1 International Buffet In Outram Park—Here’s Our Review

9th July 2026

Atrium Restaurant has 1-for-1 international buffetĀ

When it comes to hotel buffets, most people head straight for premium offerings like fresh seafood and sashimi. In comparison, local dishes are often overlooked, as they don’t seem to offer the same value. But what if we told you there’s a buffet that flips that notion on its head? At Atrium Restaurant‘s International Buffet, the Singaporean delights are well worth saving room for.Ā

Located in Holiday Inn’s Singapore Atrium outlet, just a stone’s throw away from Havelock MRT, the halal-certified restaurant is a popular destination for buffet-goers, now even more so with its 1-for-1 deal for adult diners.Ā

Regular prices are $98++ per person for weekday lunch (Mon to Fri), $118++ for weekday dinner (Mon to Thurs), $108++ for weekend lunch (Sat and Sun), and $128++ for weekend dinner (Fri to Sun and public holidays). With the deal, you can enjoy the buffet from just $49++ per person with a dining buddy!Ā

Before we got into the local delights, it is worth pointing out that Atrium Restaurant has a rotating themed buffet to complement its lineup of evergreen favourites. During our visit, the spotlight was on Latin American cuisine, with a wide variety of Brazilian and Mexican dishes temporarily on offer, including Argentina Ensalada Criolla with Beef, Mexican Smoked Chicken Cobb Salad, and Macarronada AKA Brazilian-style spaghetti bolognese.Ā

Still, no buffet is complete without a stop at the seafood station, where you will find Poached Tiger Prawns, Blue Mussels, Baby Abalone, and Japanese Sweet Clams. Those visiting during weekend dinners can also indulge in Fresh Oysters, Rock Lobster, and Cold Whole Salmon on Ice. Be sure to pair them with condiments such as Sambal Belacan, Thai Sweet Chilli, and Nyonya Sambal.Ā

However, our attention was on the local delights, and the first thing that struck us was the number of live stations spread throughout the restaurant. The standout was undoubtedly the Hainanese Chicken Rice station, designed to resemble a traditional hawker cart. Here, the chef chops your preferred chicken parts to order, with a choice of either steamed or roasted chicken, while chicken rice is available free-flow from the rice cooker beside the station.

Having sampled many of the best chicken rice stalls across Singapore, I admittedly didn’t have high hopes for one served at a buffet. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how it ticked almost every box of a quality plate of chicken rice. The chicken was plump and juicy, with silky-smooth meat that made each bite satisfying, while the fragrant rice was deeply aromatic with distinct, well-defined grains.Ā

Dipping the chicken into the chilli and ginger sauces elevated the dish even further, adding an extra burst of umami. It’s hard to say it rivals the very best chicken rice spots I’ve tried, but it certainly gives most versions of the dish a run for their money.

Laksa is one of my ultimate comfort foods, so seeing a bowl assembled right in front of me was an instant draw. Their Singapore Laksa came generously topped with prawns, fish cake, and bean sprouts, before being finished with a dollop of sambal chilli and fragrant laksa leaves. The portions were quite generous, but not that it matters—you can always head back for unlimited refills.Ā

The laksa broth had aĀ good depth of flavour, with a rich, savoury profile that leaned slightly on the milder side. I would have liked a little more punch, but the broth was still very robust, enriched with creamy coconut milk while allowing the spices and seafood flavours to shine through.

Another highlight was the live prata station, where you can watch the chefs expertly flip the dough before cooking each prata fresh to order. Served piping hot with a crisp, flaky exterior, their basic prata was good enough to stand on its own even without customised flavours.Ā

That said, you can drizzle the thick curry gravy over the prata—this added a rich and aromatic layer that seeps into every flaky bite. Surprisingly, the curry even came with chicken wings, allowing you to enjoy it even on its own.Ā

Make sure to check out their Beef Rendang as well. While the beef wasn’t quite at the melt-in-your-mouth level, it was still tender enough and absorbed the rich, earthy coconut-spiced gravy nicely. Pair it with the fragrant chicken rice for a comforting and moreish combination.Ā

We also tried their Grilled Satay, which featured both chicken and mutton sticks served with the quintessential peanut sauce. While the chicken was tender and quite addictive, we found the mutton satay tended to clump together, making them slightly less enjoyable. Thankfully, it wasn’t overly gamey and still retained plenty of flavour.Ā

It was also a nice touch for the buffet to have a live ice cream uncle serving up classic ice cream sandwiches in a variety of flavours, with a choice of crispy wafers or soft rainbow bread for the quintessential Singaporean experience.

Ambience at Atrium RestaurantĀ

Located on the fourth floor of the hotel, the restaurant offers ample seating and glass panels that flood the space with natural light. Its open-concept layout overlooks the hotel’s atrium, giving diners panoramic views of its architecture for a scenic dining experience.Ā

Atrium Restaurant is a three-minute walk from Havelock MRT Station.Ā

Though the buffet’s lineup of local favourites might not sound particularly exciting on paper, the quality of each dish made it clear that these classics deserve your attention. I never thought I would go back for multiple rounds of carbs at a buffet, but at Atrium Restaurant, they’re simply too good to pass up. Coupled with its rotating themed menu and the current 1-for-1 promotion, this is easily one of the best-value hotel buffet deals in Singapore.Ā
