Let’s be real, bubble tea has become indispensable to many of our lives. But with one cup easily priced over $6 in this economy, we often find ourselves having second thoughts before queuing in line for this sweet treat. Thankfully, A Little Tea has lifted some of the weight off our shoulders with super affordable bubble tea, largely under $5.

This newly opened BBT store in Icon Village is actually an offshoot of a famous Chinese brand, which has over 300 outlets in China. They’re also a quick two-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station—super convenient if you work in the CBD.

There’s surely something for everyone here as the menu is extensive with six different tea series: Chewy, Milk Tea, Brewed Tea, Macchiato, Tea Latte, and Fruit Tea. And like most BBT stores, you have the option of choosing between Medium and Large.

A basic cup of their Milk Tea costs $3.50/$4.50, with other flavours such as Oolong Milk Tea and Jasmine Green Milk Tea available at the same price. Most of their toppings cost $0.70 each, with variations such as Pudding, Big Bubble, and Coconut Jelly. If you’re willing to spend a little more, there are Macchiato ($1) and Ice Cream ($1) options as well. FYI, registered members can enjoy these toppings for free!

For a simple yet delicious quencher, we recommend the Black Tea ($2.50/$3.50) or Yakult Green Tea ($4.20/$5.20). Alternatively, try their sweet-sour Passion Fruit Green Tea ($3.50/$4.50) from the Fruit Tea series.
