Chang Cheng Mee Wah is a new food court in Clementi West
West-siders, here’s something to get excited for. Clementi West is now home to a new food court called Chang Cheng Mee Wah, which comprises a slew of famous local stalls, from Tai Wah Pork Noodle to Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee, and even the trendy Korean fried chicken hawker, Waker Chicken.

Tai Wah Pork Noodle outlets have been popping up left, right, and centre as of late, with this Clementi West outlet being its latest iteration.
Here, you can get the stall’s Michelin-approved signature bak chor mee, complete with their unique, vinegary sauce.
Lor mee lovers can look forward to getting their fix from Old Airport Road’s famed Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee. Each slurpable bowl comes with aromatic lor (gravy), QQ noodles, and toppings that range from crunchy fresh beansprouts, shredded meat, pork belly, and a marinated hardboiled egg.
Adding to the line-up of heritage hawker stalls is Rong Cheng Rou Gu Cha, a bak kut teh stall that has been around since 1976. They’re well known for being the first in Singapore to offer loin ribs in their BKT, which is meatier and fattier than the average.
Waker Chicken is another must-visit if you’ve yet to try the fare from this Korean fried chicken stall. Founded by two native Koreans who wanted to bring their fried chicken recipe to Singapore, the stall has since expanded to different corners of our city. Expect to find their fried-to-order chicken at Chang Cheng Mee Wah, in flavours such as their popular Honey Butter. They’re halal-certified too!
Other novel stalls to watch include Bread & Go, which sells fresh bakes you can dabao daily, and Hua Zai, for smoked duck noodles.

Aside from these names, there are other stalls offering all your usual kopitiam classics, from a briyani and mamak stall, to Korean-Japanese hotplate dishes, as well as cai fan.
