This April, if you walk around CBD on weekday afternoons, you may be startled to see the famous nightclub Cherry Discotheque looking suspiciously like a coffeeshop from the outside—just look at the above picture. The reason for this transformation is that, from now till the end of the month, Cherry is offering seriously bang-for-your-buck cai png on its dancefloor.

Because Cherry Cai Fan only comes to life on weekday afternoons, 11am to 3pm, CBD office workers have mostly replaced the typically young Cherry crowd. That contrast between the moody, 80s-inspired nightclub ambience and the diners’ clean-cut office attire is quite something.

The cheapest plate of cai png you can get here is just $2, consisting of just rice and your choice of vegetable. Add a meat to that order, and you’ll bring the price up to just $3.50. For some meat, seafood, and vegetables, you’ll be set back $6.50. Considering this is in the CBD area, these prices are certainly something to rave about, pun intended.

The dish options are surprisingly varied, too. You’ve got picks such as curry chicken, braised pork belly, tofu, fried calamari and more. While I don’t think the quality of cooking here will impress you, the affordability and interesting environment make up for that.

So if you work in the CBD and are looking for a new lunch spot with your office kakis, be sure to drop by Cherry Discotheque for one of the more unique cai png experiences around at the moment.
