Claimed to be Japan’s most famous tonkotsu ramen chain, IPPUDO reached our shores in 2009 and has remained a crowd favourite ever since. Head down early to avoid the queues, and pick from their extensive menu featuring Singapore exclusives such as the Niku Soba ($18) and Bonito Tonkotsu ($19).

Diehard IPPUDO fans can opt for the signature Shiromaru Motoaji ($16) to try their award-winning bone broth that is painstakingly cooked for 18 hours. The creamy broth, paired with their springy Hakata-style ramen noodles, is sure to warm you up amidst the recent rainy weather.

Another IPPUDO classic is the Akamaru Shinaji ($17). This ramen comes with added miso paste and garlic oil to zhng-up their usual tonkotsu broth. Alternatively, spice enthusiasts can go for the Karaka-Men ($18). Elevated with spicy miso and Sichuan peppers, each slurp of this dish offers an addictive kick. These bowls of ramen also include tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu.

If you are feeling adventurous, try IPPUDO’s latest Dried Scallop Hae Bee Hiam Ramen ($25). This bowl of locally inspired ramen was a collaborative effort between the ramen chain and veteran actor Li Nanxing. Enjoy the familiar, umami flavours of Ah Ge’s dried scallop hae bee hiam paste mixed with IPPUDO’s tonkotsu broth for a nostalgic bite.

To redeem this promotion, like and follow IPPUDO Singapore’s Facebook page. Do note that they will charge for the more expensive bowl of ramen. This deal is sure to attract snaking queues, so hurry down next Wednesday!

If you are not a fan of long queues, head down to Menya Kanae instead for Hokkaido-style prawn ramen, or check out Ramen Keisuke Niku King for tonkotsu ramen that is overflowing with meat!
