JJ Lin fans have something to look forward to next month, as the famous singer’s cafe Miracle Coffee is set to land on our shores very soon. The cafe will be launching at Marina Bay Sands on 30 September 2022 at 12pm, and will run for 90 days at the ArtScience Museum‘s outdoor Rain Oculus. Thereafter, the flagship cafe will be located in the museum’s lobby in 2023.

Fresh off the press are the details for 30 September: queueing will start from 6am this Friday along the lily ponds outside the ArtScience Museum. Overnight queues, or fans who are thinking of queuing before 6am, will be dispersed.

You’ll have to register for a spot in the queue via a QR code, which gets you an SMS notification to join the physical queue, or wait for your turn—there can only be 200 people in the physical queue at any time. This system will be implemented for the whole opening weekend.

For the pop-up, fans can expect a curated list of 10 signature coffee options, starring single-origin beans from specialty coffee producers including Panama and Kenya. Prices range from $6 for an Americano, to $7 for a Mocha Latte and $8 for a pour-over coffee.

The popular cafe has one outlet in Shanghai and three more in Taipei: in Neihu district, Dongqu district, and Guting district, their newest opening. They recently launched an afternoon tea set (NT$260/~S$11.80) that’s available daily from 2pm to 5pm, which includes a drink and one cake or toast.

Coffee lovers will also be pleased with the selection of hand drip options at Miracle Coffee’s Taipei locations, which rotate on a monthly basis. Past highlights include Honduras La Isabel beans that feature notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and walnut, as well as the lighter-tasting Ethiopia beans.
