When JJ Lin’s Miracle Coffee reached Singapore’s shores, the cafe was met with much fanfare. After a year-long pop-up at Marina Bay Sands’ outdoor Rain Oculus, the brand is finally opening its permanent store at the ArtScience Museum lobby! This new cafe will take over the space of their second kiosk which was also launched last year, Miracle Coffee x SweetSpot. It’s set to open on 6 December 2023, 4pm.

At the previous pop-up, there were 10 drinks in total, including a signature range of pour-overs and cold brews made from single-origin beans. Back then, prices ranged from $6 for an Americano, to $7 for a Mocha Latte and $8 for a pour-over coffee.

There was also a selection of Singapore-exclusive drinks, including Kaya Cloud ($9): Americano with kaya-spiked cream and gula melaka shavings. During our visit last year, the Kaya Cloud was one of our favourite drinks; the lightly salted kaya cream paired well with the light roast.

According to a brand representative, the cafe will offer some signature drinks, as well as new additions to the menu including food. Crossing fingers that this beverage will be made available!

When we visited the Miracle Coffee x SweetSpot kiosk last year, we tried JJ’s Wonderblend ($6.80), an ice-cold smoothie with a refreshing blend of blueberries, a whole banana, and yoghurt.

There was also the Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte ($6.80), consisting of brown sugar and hojicha powder, combined with full cream steamed milk, and topped with torched marshmallows. Here’s hoping both items will make their comeback at the upcoming launch.

While most details are still up in the air, we do know that the new cafe will kick off Miracle Lab, which will host panels by popular coffeemakers such as Equate Coffee and Glyph Supply Co. That’s exciting news for coffee aficionados!

Another new cafe worth checking out is Hey Slow Joe, which offers legit coffee and fresh bakes. Otherwise, if you’re heading to MBS for Miracle Coffee, read our compiled list of Marina Bay Sands restaurants for more substantial eats in the area!
