Muji Cafe reopens at Plaza Singapura with an expanded dining area
Muji Cafe fans, the long wait has come to an end: Muji Cafe has reopened at Plaza Singapura, along with its largest flagship store!
The revamped space sees an expanded dining area that comfortably fits up to 94 people. It’s more spacious than before, too.
Muji Cafe Opens In Tanjong Pagar With Curry Miso Fried Chicken And More
Similar to Muji Cafe Tanjong Pagar, this outlet offers hot and cold deli items, alongside a small selection of rice bowls, drinks, and desserts that are made in-house. If you’re going for their regular deli sets, prices start at $14.90 for one hot and one cold deli, an onsen egg, rice, and a bowl of soup.
The Pork Katsu Donburi ($16.80)Â is a hot favourite that stars a thick slab of deep-fried pork cutlet drizzled with mayo, paired with a side salad. It’s served on a bed of the cafe’s signature 16 Grain Rice, a nutritious blend of 16 grains sourced from Japan. You can purchase a pack of this special rice to cook at home too!
Break into the egg and mix the creamy yolk with the different components for a satisfying meal.
We also recommend the Soy-Sansho French Fries ($6.90)Â for snacking. This Muji Cafe Singapore-exclusive features crispy fries topped with Japanese shoyu powder, sansho pepper, and parmesan cheese for the perfect blend of umami and spice.
If you’re visiting soon, don’t miss out on their festive menu, available from now till 27 December 2023.
The Festive Set ($22.90) gets you four festive deli items, along with a soup and a Salmon & Spinach Quiche. Our favourites from the deli selection were the White Wine Cranberry Pork Collar Stew and Braised Grain Fed Beef Oyster Blade with Red Wine.
The new Pepper Chocolate Dome with Miso Creme Brulee ($8.90) is a unique pick that combines a peppery chocolate mousse with savoury miso cream, topped with a flourless chocolate sponge. Otherwise, the all-new Santa’s Belly ($8.90)Â cake will add some yuletide cheer to your meal!
Do note that dining at Cafe Muji is self-service; during peak hours, you’ll have to join the queue right outside, before getting a table and placing your order at the counter.
