When I heard about the $10 buffet at ONZ! Buffet Restaurant by Bija, I was sceptical—the price is unbelievably cheap, especially in this economy. Located at Grandlink Square, the Paya Lebar restaurant offers $10 nett lunch and dinner buffets featuring over 10 mains, including a spread of meat and seafood.

Their buffets are available daily during lunch from 11am to 2pm, and dinner from 5pm to 8pm. Better yet, both buffets are priced the same throughout the week, meaning there’s no weekend surcharges or other T&Cs to worry about!

The buffet menus are refreshed daily, but largely feature Chinese and Indian fare. Expect an impressive lineup, including a tasty selection of soups, sides, pasta, rice, meat, seafood and more! You get free-flow drinks, too, such as coffee, tea, and chilled cordial.

A crowd favourite is the Mutton Briyani, which stars tender chunks of mutton in fluffy and aromatic basmati rice. There are also other popular dishes such as Beef Rendang, Stir-Fried Beef, and Black Pepper Chicken.

Don’t miss out on the Fish Head Curry, featuring tender fish in a spicy, tangy curry infused with tamarind and fresh mangoes. It’s even approved by KF Seetoh, AKA the king of Makansutra, so you know it’s worth a try!

If you love noodle dishes, they’ve got everything from pasta, such as Clam Aglio Olio and Chicken Alfredo, to local classics Char Kway Teow and Mee Goreng Mamak.

Pair your mains with comforting bowls of soup. The hearty Beef Bone Soup is a popular choice, often featured on both lunch and dinner menus. Otherwise, go for the spicy Seafood Tom Yum Soup.

You can also get their Laksa Set, topped with a plethora of ingredients: fresh prawns, hard-boiled eggs, tofu, kangkong and more!

Dessert fans, you can pay an additional $5 more for the Premium Buffet at their air-conditioned basement space. With the upgrade, you get access to additional drink options and a dessert bar, consisting of Burbur Cha Cha, Burbur Pulut Hitam, and a colourful assortment of Cake Lapis. There’s even an Ice Cream Buffet, where you can indulge in unlimited ice cream in flavours such as Chocolate and Strawberry.

ONZ! Buffet Restaurant by Bijan is located at Grandlink Square, a nine-minute walk from Paya Lebar MRT Station. As their lineup changes daily, do check their Instagram page for daily menu updates. We also recommend visiting earlier, as the restaurant limits food top-ups to minimise wastage.
