Roast Paradise Is Opening In Punggol With New Charcoal-Grilled Ribs

Roast Paradise is opening in Punggol with charcoal-grilled ribs

Barely a month after they launched their second outlet in Sengkang, Roast Paradise is set to open yet another stall in the Northeast on 30 September 2022—this time in Punggol, just beside the new Northshore Plaza malls.

The release of a brand-new menu item, Charcoal-Grilled Pork Ribs, is spicing things up at this Roast Paradise opening. Priced at $7.50, $14, and $21 for 100g, 200g, and 300g respectively, these ribs are an outlet-exclusive dish for the time being.

These are done in the same marinade as Roast Paradise’s best-selling KL-style Char Siew (from $6.50). They’re also prepared with baby back ribs: a prime cut that’s more tender, and thus more expensive, than spare ribs. Because the ribs are blasted and smoked in an apollo drum with the bones intact, this makes for an even more flavourful finish.

Besides this new item on the menu, you’ll be able to find your Roast Paradise favourites here, charcoal-roasted daily on the premises. Look forward to classics including Roast Pork or Char Siew Rice ($4.50), otherwise, you can opt to have them with noodles.

If you’ve not tried those, or the Char Siew Roast Pork Rice ($5.80), you’ll be surprised to find that the meats come with flavoured rice that’s zhnged-up with butter, garlic, ginger, and pork oil.

Change up your order with their Hakka noodles instead, should you join the leagues of regulars at Roast Paradise. These specially procured, wide egg noodles are tossed in a blend of lard oil and a Hakka-style sauce blend, then topped with seasoned minced meat.

Continue hanging out in the Northshore ‘hood with our guide to dining at Northshore Plaza. If you’ve got a furbaby in tow, consider heading to Well Collective, a pet-friendly cafe in Punggol that’s got Japanese rice bowls on the menu!
