World Wide Willy sells instant self-heating brownie box
The self-heating hotpot trend took the social media world by storm a couple of years back, with famous names such as Haidilao rolling out their very own versions. If you’re a fan of this unique and convenient technology, online shop World Wide Willy has a new DIY Brownie Box ($24) kit that you should check out.
In case you didn’t know, self-heating meals first rose in popularity in China, around 2017 to 2018. People love them as these instant meals don’t require an external heat source to prepare. The bottom of the “pot” contains a small packet of quicklime, which you need to mix with water to activate. This releases sufficient heat to cook the item.
This self-heating brownie is super easy and quick to prepare—all you need is in the box, including a fresh egg, the instant brownie mix, and water.
First, mix all the dry and wet ingredients in the pot.
Then place the heat pad at the bottom and add water to it. For this step, you don’t even need to find a water source, as it comes in the box labelled.
Immediately cover the top with foil and wait for around 25 minutes for the brownie to cook. There you have it—dessert sorted in 30 minutes!
The final product is said to be fluffy and moist, resembling that of a chocolate sponge cake instead of a fudgy brownie.
On top of this new product release, the IG shop also offers fresh bakes, including tarts and cookies. Try their Nutella Tarts at $15 a bottle, which comes with 24 bite-sized pieces. Delivery costs $6 per location, or you can spend at least $60 to enjoy it for free.
